About the Website:
The first incarnation of this website was found at hipslikecinderella.net. The domain name is from the Pixies’ song “Tame.” Doolittle is one of my favorite albums. Although “Dead” is my favorite track on the record, I couldn’t have my website called, “geterected.com” or “uriahhitthecrapper.net.” ;)
Time passed, and I wanted my domain name to reflect some changes in my life. “Drift closely” is derived from one of my favorite poems by Rupert Brooke.
This website houses my handmade and cooking, gives a little shout-out to independent businesses out there, reviews products and services I’ve come across, and also features some of my sales/clearance/discount hauls.
However, the direction of this site has shifted. I’m desperately trying to find meaning in my existence and hoping that I can come to terms with what I need to do and what I want to do, and for the first time, I’m publicly being honest with what’s actually going on in my head.

Hi Judith! Long time no talk… years in fact! We used to play WoW together ages ago, back when that was the cool thing to do that all the cool kids did well. You knew me as Unu on Kel’Thuzad. God, I feel like a nerd saying that. Anyway, just wanted to drop by and say howdy. I found a link to your blog on an old hotmail account of mine, figured I’d come check it out!

I’ll ignore your teasing comments. You and Jean were always such teases. Do you still talk to Jean? I do! We call each other a few times a month and if the moon is full, weekly. :D
So I came across this journal from doing a google of “the Mezze of Destruction” upon reading the Neil Gaiman blog.
3 down, I see the title “hips like cinderella” and simply had to drop by since that happens to one of the favourite things that Frank Black has sang.
