Fabulous Food Duos Received
I haven’t photographed or posted about the swaps I received because I’m usually too excited and tear into the packages and then start admiring the goodies I’m sent. And then I put them in a box for storage and open it and admire some more whenever I walk by said box. ;)

Moonalisa Goodies
I placed an online order with Moonalisa tonight. :) She has a great reputation online: customers love her products and services. I don’t think that I’ve bought any etailer bath and body goodies this year because I have so much for it… But I couldn’t resist her quarterly (?) update.
I was able to [...]Tags: bath -
New Project: Bird Quilt.
Every now and then, I lose the spark to craft. Right now, I’ve lost it. I have a ton of projects I can work on, but I’m so half-hearted about them. :(
My awesome scarf that I had planned is currently on the drawing board because the flannel I had purchased for the product [...] -

POTATOES!
From Whole Foods, for Food Not Bombs. :D
I’ve been making mashed potatoes/variants thereof these past couple of Sundays. In my opinion, it is difficult to find a good potato recipe that will taste good, even if serving is an hour or two down the line from when it was made. Mashed potatoes [...]May 20th, 2009 | Filed under Food -

New Goodies
I went to High Fashion Fabrics today, and my goodness. It was amazing! Fabrics were everywhere, rolls and bolts lined up lengthwise on the walls. I read some reviews online, and people talked about rude sales people, but the two people who helped me were so nice. :)
While trying to find the [...]May 18th, 2009 | Filed under Sewing -
High as a kite while frolicking in an English Countryside
Today I worked on some projects that were on the backburner. After baking two more pieces (remember Shrinky Dinks? Shrink plastic!), I mixed up some resin and coated them. I poured some resin on a cameo awhile ago, and I remember it being far easier than it was tonight…
Note to self: next [...]May 16th, 2009 | Filed under HandmadeTags: bath, work in progress -
Whole Foods Mock Chicken Salad
Oh. My. God.
I had to take a quick break from work to post how amazing and DELICIOUS Whole Foods’ Mock Chicken Salad is. It is orgasmically tasty. So flavorful and so satisfying! Spectacular.
I want to learn how to make this so badly. What throws me off is making soy nuggets. [...]May 11th, 2009 | Filed under FoodTags: prepared food, whole foods -
Food Not Bombs and Embroidery Frenzy
Lately, I’ve been busying myself with the Food Not Bombs chapter in Houston. The people who go are awesome, intelligent, and compassionate, and I’m so glad to have met them! Also, I really enjoy talking with the people we serve — they have so many stories. As strange as this may sound, [...]
